The property itself is very charming, just how I like - refurbished in boutique style inter with authentic antique vibe. The staff is super friendly. "Olive Green was a comfortable, modern hotel on a pretty plaza, convenient to the sites in downtown Heraklion. The room was on the small side and the spaces in the bathroom were a bit awkward. The breakfast was excellent. We were comfortable."

"Dom Boutique Hotel was such a great find! The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Our room was really clean, spacious, and comfy—perfect to come back to after a day out. The location is also amazing. It’s in a safe neighborhood and just a short walk to tons of great restaurants, bars, cute little boutique shops, parks, and the main sights. We’ll definitely book again on our next trip to Heraklion!"

"Great spot! So much to see around the area. Parking was a bit tricky, go to the Themes Parking which is roughly 800 feet from the hotel. It’s 15 euros for the whole day but conveniently located. The area around the hotel was amazing! So much to explore. Breakfast in the morning was top notch! Felt very taken care of! "

"Conveniently located. Great atmosphere! The property owner was a gem and gave such great information. They don’t have a standard check in process so it was helpful to have text visuals and step by step instructions on how to enter the building. Also there’s parking!! You don’t have to drive around trying to locate a spot or pay anywhere. So nice! Great vibes all around! "

"Capsis Astoria is very conveniently located. It’s on the bus route to and from the airport so getting there is 1.20€. It’s also next door to the Heraklion archeological museum and on the bus route to Knossos. There are multiple restaurants nearby ranging from casual cafes to fine dining. We highly recommend Pemptos Ntore restaurant just across the way on the fifth floor. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, letting us check in when we arrived at 11 am. The breakfast is substantial. We enjoyed sitting at the pool and having a drink. They have a small version of a Greek windmill on the roof. Very Instagram friendly. We recommend it highly."
