The bed was hard and lumpy and the room felt strangely empty. The staff was understanding, however, we are still waiting on our refund to finish processing "

"I’m surprised that Holiday Inn lets this hotel operate under the IHG banner. This hotel is not up to General Holiday Inn standards. The rooms have that foul, musty smell. The sink did not drain properly. The shower water was mildly warm at best. I realize it is an older hotel but there is zero effort to keep it modern. Such a shame. I booked through a 3rd party (hotels.com) and prepaid for 4 breakfasts. The hotel claims to have no record of this. Now I have to see how to handle that misstep. Terrible experience from a traveler who generally trusts the Holiday Inn brand name. "
