"We had a fantastic stay at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Port Charlotte. Check-in via the app was super smooth, and the digital key worked great. The property was very clean. Our room was so comfortable, and the water view was worth the extra few dollars. We even got to see alligators mating! Plus, the breakfast was really good. We’d absolutely stay here again!"

"The lanai, private pool, and lake view are very nice. The rest of the house is OK. A number of items about the maintenance of the home were not great. The neighborhood is a mix of nice homes and not so great homes. This rental is somewhere in between.Port Charolette is not really a vacation town."

"This place was perfect! Plenty of room for the two of us; every amenity you could think of was provided in the cottage - you can just show up with the clothes on your back (and a few groceries) and have a perfect stay. Kayaks, canoes and barbecue pits aplenty. We met Meagan on the property; she was fantastic and the entire property is so well taken care of. We were out and about for most of our 4-day stay - but this is the perfect place to come back to in the evening, make your own meal, chill around a fire or take a little canoe trip down the Horse Creek. We will be back many, many times!!"

"We loved the pool/hot tub combo. Our kids swam all day! We loved the surrounding area and didn’t mind driving to either Punta Gorda or Venice Beach for some beach time or nice places to eat. Everything in the house was clean and the layout allowed us to comfortably sleep the entire family. "
