"Room was good,clean,1/2 block to ocean,but tv and remote were old ,tv not a snart tv though its a vizio! I have one,literally everything on mine,no app store on it..here only netflix,so if you watch other sites be aware.and remote hard to use,back kept sliding off. Also got locked out,luckily rob answered phone,and got us in with spare keys."

"Great place for the cost. There are not a great deal of amenities and no on site bar/restaurant as well as nothing within walking distance. You also have to pay extra to get your room cleaned. Overall, we had a very nice experience."

"The guy who sits at the front door (valet?) is awful. We were trying to leave for the airport in an uber and were stuck in the entrance because a car in front of us was blocking our way. The people refused to move out of the way, so we asked the guy at the door if he could please ask them to pull over so we (and others) could leave the entrance of the hotel. The valet guy looked us straight in the eye and said he was busy and to do it ourselves. We said we don’t work at the Wyndham and the people wouldn’t listen to us but would listen to him. He repeated it again, “I’m busy. Tell them yourselves.” I’ve never encountered such rudeness from a hotel employee. "

"This is a rundown hotel in a nice neighborhood. Hotels.com should look into whether their rooms live up to the basic standards. In our experience the room we got was very poor. When we complained we were "upgraded" to what we consider a normal room—on the 6th floor. We suspect the 6th floor is the only floor that doesn't have the likes of cabinets with water damaged doors too swollen to close. To its credit the hotel does have excellent staff who are working to the best of their abilities with conditions that will disappoint many customers. The free breakfast is decent enough, and on the weekend a raucous boozy smoking crowd gathers for poolside music in the form of singers performing to karaoke tracks. Thankfully it doesn't go too late if you're an early-to-bed type. We would stay there again if the 6th floor is available at the normal price. Otherwise, Deerfield Beach has many other nicer rooms in the 150 to 250 range."
