Police barricade
There was a police barricade all around the hotel because of a protest. The entire experience was harrowing. I have no idea what the hotel is actually like, because we couldn't even get to it. I know it's tempting because it's cheap, but don't do it.

Not great, even at $20
THE BAD: My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights right when we got to Delhi. Even with the jet lag, sleeping here was miserable due to the noise. The only remotely quiet time is between 1 and 5 am. The advertised free wifi does not work. I tried to use my iPhone to connect to the Internet, but even in the lobby with full wifi bars, I was unable to access any website.
