"Hotel was reasonably priced, easy check in, beautiful view of the ocean, easy access to the ocean. The only issue was the hotel didn't open the pool area until 8am, and you need to go through the pool gates to get to the beach. I wanted to see the sun rise at 7am, and they told me I would have to go over a small wall on the property line and then gain access to the beach through a public entrance. This was not ok, and would not be ok for an elderly person who couldn't get over the wall easily."

"We stayed in one of the 1BR Bungalows and were presently surprised. They offered a refrigerator, microwave, stove and dishwasher. Plus, all the necessities needed for cooking. We had two rooms: one for sleeping and the other a living room with an L shaped sofa. The rooms were well appointed and spacious. We only needed the staff one time during a 5-night stay and they were very accommodating. The bungalow had a self-locking front door, so we always felt safe. The bungalow came with two Adirondack chairs facing the beach and ocean which upon viewing was very soothing. The bungalow was very spacious and very clean more so than a simple hotel room. We plan on returning next year because the Facility is close to NSB and Flagler Avenue. We did not venture too far away from this property because everything we needed was in close proximity. Coconut Palms Beach Resort ll is our place to stay in New Smyrna Beach."
