The location was ideal, just steps from the water, and full of the quiet magic of village life (we even heard donkeys passing by in the morning!). A helpful man at the entrance assisted with our bags for a small tip, which made arrival easy—especially since no cars are allowed and the only way around is via winding stairs. The property is not new and there was some smell of old wood in the room. I hoped to use the fireplace as it was cold outside but they didn’t have wood, so it was disappointing. "

"The property is lovely with a beautiful view, and excellent staff. The only downside is that it is not located in Monemvasia castle nor is it in the city of Monemvasia but right beyond the city borders so the nearest dining option is 10 minutes away by car. Otherwise the stay was great. "
