"Nice location on the beach. Room was nice, perhaps getting somewhat aged but that was reflected by the price. A bit longer walk in to Makkum itself, but doable and safe. We picked it for the water view and easy access to laundry facilities, right nearby, for the midpoint of our trip."

"Great location for non-car travelers - easy walk to station and town centre. Breakfast good but expensive and did run out of items as staff could not keep up with volume. Double bed very odd as it was two singles pushed together - the matresses kept moving apart in the night creating a Grand Canyon ..."

"Very central location - only downside is that rooms around the central ventilation shaft hear all the cover stations in the other rooms. The earplugs provided are very welcome. The breakfast (extra) is substantial. Would chose boiled egg and not scrambled to accompany another time!"
