Gloriously remote! These holiday cottages are located down a narrow, winding track, so the detailed instructions provided by the host were invaluable. The cottage lights and heating were on when we arrived making for a cosy welcome on an autumn afternoon. The bedroom and en-suite were carefully presented and very clean and the kitchen was supplied with all the necessary equipment to prepare meals and snacks. The cottage is within easy driving distance of many North Wales places of interest and the North Wales Pilgrim's way footpath passes close by the cottages. As the cottage is remote, make sure you take a box of supplies as popping to the shops is not something to be undertaken lightly in the dark. The host kindly pointed out before we arrived, that personal towels are not supplied and to take your own. There isn't a washing machine so take plenty of spare socks if the Welsh weather looks like it might be wet! A very relaxing stay made even better by the fabulous weather.
