"I had the worst experience from the first night of my stay. My neighbour had loud music playing from the moment I checked in at 7pm until 5am. I didn’t sleep at all. I called the front desk around 10pm; they came and asked him to turn it off, but he only stopped for five minutes before turning it back on. About an hour later he turned it off again, but then had people over, kept the music on, and they were incredibly loud for the rest of the night.
At 5am, as I was leaving for work, I spoke to the night manager. He apologised and I requested a new room. I was told the person would not be there, so I agreed to stay, but no compensation was offered for the lost sleep, even though I made it clear how disruptive the night had been.
The bad experience continued. Because I had to leave at 5am for work, I missed the breakfast I was entitled to. The first day they offered me a free coffee, the second day I was charged, and on the third day I had to pay again. When I finally managed to come down later for breakfast, the night before my entire floor smelled strongly of marijuana. The smell leaked into my room, leaving my clothes smelling and making it very difficult to sleep.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a good night’s sleep or a pleasant stay for business trips. It seems more suited to leisure guests than those travelling for work."
