Highly recommend for families

Villa Mahapala was great. The thatched roof meant the street noise was a little loud in the villa closest to the street. Perfect for families though. The kids loved the pool

Check-in was a bit bumpy and not very smooth. The hotel itself feels quite worn and could definitely use some renovation to freshen things up. The food was okay, nothing more — not bad, but nothing memorable either. Overall, an average experience that didn’t quite live up to expectations.

We really enjoyed our stay. The villas are so private, and the pool / outdoor space was wonderful. Only suggestion is towel racks would be handy, but that was all we could fault. Staff and service wonderful, food very well presented and nice.

Villa with private pool

Beautiful villa stones throw away to the Sanur beach and markets. A little dated but very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Villa had private pool which was glorious. Nice and spacious. Will definitely stay here again

I had an excellent stay in a 2 bedroom villa. The staff were amazing and the villa was clean and very well maintained for an ageing property. The setup of the 2 bedroom villa is well suited for 2 couples or a family wanting the privacy of your own pool. The second bedroom has the same fit out with large bathroom and double vanity. Highly recommend this property!

Lovely property with excellent friendly staff Nik & team who were very helpful. Nice in villa breakfast, would be good not to use saran wrap to cover the dishes and drinks. This was not just at this villa, but in Bali in general. Perhaps consider reusable silicone wrap or cloche to be more environmentally friendly.

Just stayed 4 nights in a 2 bedroom pool villa at Mahapala. Could not fault it at all and will definitely return. Just loved everything about this property. Staff so helpful, villas beautiful, private pool fabulous and kept so clean each day, breakfast good, resort main pool is fabulous and its jacuzzi awesome. Just a 1 minute walk to the beach is so handy, shopping handy at both Baruna Beach market and Sindhu Beach market, or easy to walk up to Jl.D Tamblingan (we actually cut through one of the beachfront resorts up to the street - was quicker than walking up Jl. Sindhu). An abundance of cafes and dining options abound along the beachfront with easy access by the newly upgraded double pathway. A fabulous stay - wish it could've been longer.

Property was ok , some maintenance and repair was ongoing. Staff were excellent and property was in a good location. Breakfasts were good to have in villa. Villa pool was nice. Our main complaint was air conditioning in room was next to useless, they had maintenance look at it but it was never going to change, wasn’t offered to change room. We come for warm weather but still like a cool room at night. Ran air con 24/7 no difference/ was nicer outside. This may be due to room design ! Paid $110 extra for 7pm checkout/ probably should have been given free as compensation!! What hurt was being questioned over a missing tea spoon.

Not great for young families

This was our 4th time staying in sanur and we love checking out the different villa’s. It was also our first time as a family of 4. We had booked villa mahapala as we have heard great things about it but I don’t think we will be staying there again, even though the villa itself was clean and staff came to clean every day there were a few things that were missing in our villa stay. - the pool was a only a little bigger than a plunge pool, also instead of it being tiled the bottom had some sort of rock at the bottom that was uneven and not pleasant when swimming, the pool was also 1.5m deep which is a little deep for the children and our nanny to swim in. The staff did however clean the pool everyday and was very clear - there wasn’t a full sized fridge, the place was moreso a hotel room with a pool in it, we had a bar sized fridge which wasn’t ideal as when we stay in villas we like to make ourselves at home. - there was no microwave to heat food or sterilize bottles for our baby. - no big filtered water that was provided in other villas. We had to constantly buy and hotel staff give you enough just to brush your teeth etc. about 4 small bottles a day. Overall it’s not what we were looking for, it’s close to the beach but everytime you would walk there you would be hassled by the vendors. Pros: close to the beach, we got a cot with no charge and overall cleanliness and of course location.

Villa Mahapala - perfect!

Villa Mahapala is the perfect spot to stay. The villas and surrounding landscape is great. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Being about 100m from the beach makes it a perfect location to enjoy all that Sanur offers.

シンドゥ市場近くの宿で海へ出るには便利です。スタッフさんも親切で、朝食は食べきれないくらいの量で美味しいですが、メニューを選ぶのが難しい。写真などあればありがたいです。問題はお風呂のお湯が一定量超えると出なくなること、、ぬるま湯しか出ないのは悲しかったです。 ヴィラの皿やカップはジェンガラ制でとても可愛いです。 だからなのか、無くしたら部屋に請求します、という注意書きぐあらゆる場所にあり、なんだか気分が悪くなりました。 総じてはまあまあな評価ですみません。
