"Owned by the Manchester Brewery JW Lees. Booked this as a one night stop over while visiting family. Sick and tired of the big named hotels and this place looked like a good alternative. "We stsyed to do avtivities with friends. When we arrived there was very little space for parking but your excellent staff encouraged us to park in a place that we didn't think we should use. "2nd year running we have stayed here for one night. The welcome is lovely, the room was excellent and fairly large compared to say the chain hotels, everything you could wish for provided - kettle, water etc….Food is really good and very large portions so beware you need to be hungry especially at breakfast and not just the “Full breakfast”. "We were greeted by Vicky and the reception desk and she was amazing, really helpful and as the day we were going it was very windy so we set off early. So we arrived early and Vicky let us check in early which was great. We booked for 3 nights with bed and breakfast, the breakfast was really good, and brilliant service too from the staff. "Very good value for money. Staff were very nice. Checked in early. We walked down to the tram in Ashton and took the tram to the City game (25 mins). Made it very easy. Room condition was good and spacious. "

"The location was excellent for a nights stay with comfortable rooms, countryside walks and dining for every meal type throughout the day at the pub downstairs. Nice view from the Serengeti room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a brewery less than a five minute walk away, nearest town is Marsden and the canal side walk to it was lovely. Would recommend and stay again. "

"The room was beautifully decorated and very spacious, as well as being very quite. The breakfast was amazing, we ate there for dinner on our first night which was lovely and good value. The Lamb Inn is conveniently situated for walking and sightseeing."
