Just steps from the community’s main beach access and a spectacular seven-mile stretch of sandy coastline, this luxury condo is a dream destination for family vacations or friend getaways.

Thoughtfully designed for comfort and connection, Whale’s Tale features three beautifully appointed bedrooms. Two queen bedrooms on the main floor each boast luxury linens and direct access to the deck, where you can soak in the private hot tub while taking in sweeping ocean views. Upstairs, the newly remodeled living, kitchen, and dining areas offer an inviting and open layout with high ceilings, a cozy gas-log fireplace, and a wall of windows that frame the magnificent seascape. The cheerful decor and plush furnishings create a welcoming space to gather, dine, and relax after a day at the beach.

The master suite on the upper level provides a serene sanctuary with a king-size pillow-top mattress, upscale furnishings, Smart TV, and a soaking tub—perfect for quiet moments of rest and rejuvenation. For additional guests, the living area includes both a queen and twin sleeper sofa, ensuring there’s plenty of room for everyone to enjoy.

Whether you’re sipping coffee while watching the sunrise, unwinding in the hot tub under the stars, or simply enjoying the sounds of the ocean, Whale’s Tale offers an unforgettable coastal experience. For larger groups, consider reserving the lower unit, Wave Watcher, to accommodate up to 14 guests combined. Need even more space? Add Glimmering Sands to host up to 20 guests total. Don’t wait—this coastal paradise books quickly!

PET FRIENDLY: *There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Please be aware failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. *

This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

*IMPORTANT* NO commercial vehicles, boats, trailers, motorcycles, trucks, truck campers or other recreational vehicle or equipment shall not be allowed on any part of the Property nor Common Areas in the Bella Beach community.

Ocean Front

Great location right on the beach. The two queen rooms and one bathroom are the only things on the downstairs entry level. All else is upstairs.

Perfect Oceanside Stay

Wonderful house with amazing view.

Great stay. Charming neighborhood, and can't beat the view from the living room. You'll fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. They were very responsive with just one issue (previous renters left dog poop on the deck), but it was comfortable and clean.

Thanksgiving vacation

We love this place! This was our third stay at the whales tale. We have now started a tradition of visiting every Thanksgiving! Very clean and has the most beautiful views.

Perfect landing

You will live this place. The quaint community, easy beach access and balcony views make this an ideal place to stay. Great whale watching house. The house is comfortable and very clean and fully stocked and Itrips reservation process is easy. Will go back for future stays.

Fantastic view

We loved the view from the living room. We sat in front of the fire with our family including the dog. Absolutely stunning. The kitchen is well stocked and the master bed was quite comfortable. We will come back!

We had a wonderful time at Whale's Tail. Everything we needed was there. Views were amazing!! Place was clean and quiet. The only thing I would say is that we had a hard time figuring out our shower and water temperature. Notes on how to use it would be helpful.

Whale's Tale

We Love Depoe Bay, Bella Beach and Whale's Tale! Two of my siblings, their spouses and I enjoyed a week whale watching (spied some from the deck), shopping, cooking (well equipped kitchen), fishing, and just spending time together in this beautiful, well maintained home. The home was well stocked with necessities for an 8 day stay. We have been coming to Bella Beach for many years, and are already looking forward to next year!

Wonderful, relaxing stay

The house was very nice. It was totally clean and very comfortable. The BEST part of the house is the view! It is just perfect. We sat outside on the deck and watched the ocean every night. It was fantastic. I highly recommend this house…we will visit again and I have shared it with many friends already!

Great place!

We had a great stay at the Whales Tale. The location and views are exceptional. Kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed. The beach access is a very short walk which was a huge plus. We did have a couple minor suggestions. The sliding back door and some windows need screens. The toaster needs to be replaced, only one side worked. Overall this is a great place and we would definitely book again.

Amazing place!

This property was beautiful in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood of other vacation properties. We felt very welcome! There were 6 of us traveling, as well as a little dog. The villa was well appointed, private, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Really impressed with the size of the main living area and kitchen. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. I can't wait to come back again!

Perfect Location!

We loved the location of this home! Right on the beach with awesome views of the ocean. Easy beach access. The home itself is beautiful. Well stocked and clean. The only negative is the downstairs bathroom. Not ideal for four adults to share -- it's more of a "kiddy" bathroom.

We booked the beautiful Whale's Tale for a 4 day family reunion . It was truly the nicest home we have ever rented. Not only is it right on the ocean, with a knockout view, but had everything we could possibly need, and more! It was immaculate, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we will definitely be back again.Thank you iTrip for making it so easy and delightful. Simply delightful

We had a wonderful weekend at Whale Tale. Very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you would need. Note, the hot tub can accommodate two people at one time. If you have small children, I would bring a gate for the top of the stairs. They are located between the living room and kitchen. The view was priceless!

My Happy Place

Great home in a nice neighborhood with amazing views and beach access. The house was very comfortable and plenty of space. We loved enjoying the ocean waves from the hot tub. The house was spotless and was well stocked, it’s the first time we have never had to purchase spices and basics for cooking. The fireplace was a great perk after hiking and beach combing on cool rainy days. The home is nicely decorated and you just can’t beat the views. There is a grocery store nearby and a cute little cafe in the neighborhood. Located between Depoe Bay and Lincoln City with many beautiful beach access points nearby. We will definitely return.

Great Location

I wish I could rate this higher but there was a tremendous amount of pet hair and what appeared to be a pretty fresh pet urine spot in one of the downstairs bedrooms. I would recommend removing the carpet on the stairs and downstairs if pets are going to be allowed. We didn’t call anyone we just wiped down the window sills and kept the downstairs doors open for fresh air, we also kept the upstairs slider open, the view is incredible. I knew it was pet friendly but it was a little too much pet for us.

Spring Break on the Coast

Our family really enjoyed this home for our spring break trip! The views from the top floor are absolutely perfect! The house was clean and very well stocked. Two minor things to consider. First, the beds super comfortable, but the pillows are pretty horrendous. We ended up purchasing our own. Obviously, pillows are very subjective to each person, but if you happen to be partial to your own from home and are travelling by car, we would recommend bringing them. Second, the tires on all the bikes were low/flat and there was no pump in the garage. Fortunately, we have a portable one in our car kit and handled that. Hopefully, other guests either have one or the hosts will provide one in the future. Two minor inconveniences that were very solvable in an otherwise great setting and home!
