Alternatively, they offer a refundable deposit... plus a non-refundable admin fee. Hotels.com explicitly tell you not to pay any additional money via online forms as it is a very common scam. The property does not allow you to stay unless you pay via their online form. This leaves you either at risk of being a scam victim by paying the additional secret fee, or without a place...

"Excellent property, modern, clean. Feels safe, easy comms, easy to get keys. Really warm, good kitchen, only minor point is shower lacks power in onsuite but didn’t try the other bathroom! Lots of cooking utensils, and clean baking trays which is a must. Returning. "

"Nothing at all good to say about the property The shower head wouldn't stay up on the pole/ square toilet oval seat /floorboards creaking Living room. One window blind missing/one broken/brown stain on carpet. Sugar coffee and tea caddies terrible. Found a dirty sock, part of a combe and biscuit on the floor. Light flickered in hallway. Lamp in bedroom didn't work. When i payed for the property then thay said i had to pay £30 for property waiver which is not refundable All in all this place...
