"I had an amazing stay at Hotel Villa Cipressi in Varenna on Lake Como. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely gardens and incredible views over the lake that made the whole visit feel very special.
I chose Villa Cipressi as the place to propose to my fiancé, and it was the perfect setting. The grounds are peaceful and romantic, with plenty of spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery, and every time we looked around we felt lucky to be there.
The staff were outstanding throughout our stay. They were always friendly, welcoming, and professional, and they went out of their way to help me plan my trip and organize my proposal. They offered suggestions, helped with the itinerary, and were very supportive at every step, which made a big moment in our lives feel easy and enjoyable.
Our room was comfortable and clean, and waking up to the view of the lake and mountains each morning was unforgettable. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and we loved being able to start the day looking out over the water in such a calm setting.
The location is great as well. It’s a short walk to the town center, the waterfront, and the ferry, so it’s easy to explore Lake Como while still feeling like you’re in a quiet, relaxing spot.
Overall, I’m very grateful I chose Villa Cipressi for such an important occasion. The combination of the beautiful property, stunning views, and exceptionally kind and helpful staff made our stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend Hotel Villa Cipressi to anyone!"
