Golf Cart Policy: Please note that a $500 refundable security deposit, a copy of your driver's license, and proof of insurance must be received per cart prior to your arrival.

Starter Pack: We provide our guests with a starter amenity pack of Gilchrist & Soames hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponges, coffee packs, and laundry detergent pods. Once the initial amenities are depleted, guests are responsible for supplying their own amenities.

Cancellation Policy: 100% refund when bookings are cancelled 60 days (or more) before the start of the stay. Bookings canceled between 59 and 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund. For your protection, we encourage you to procure Traveler’s Insurance. Guests are required to electronically sign the rental agreement within TWO days of booking; otherwise, the reservation is subject to cancellation.

The location is simply wonderful. The beach views were just amazing. The house itself was very clean. I was disappointed in the couch, which was white and unclean and the dry clean only pillows, which were worse for where. After I covered the couch with a clean blanket, we had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed the privacy in the neighborhood and beach. We used all five bedrooms and never felt crowded. Very nice living area. We had access to the hot tub, which was very nice on the chili spring nights. Wonderful location for restaurants.

The view is amazing, you can watch the boats come thru the pass each morning from a totally unobstructed view. Only a few steps to the beach and close to stores for shopping. You literally cross Hwy 98 at the red light and you can shop for food while avoiding all of the traffic on Hwy 98. Also the best restaurant, Louisiana Lagniappe, is on Holiday Isle so no need to fight the traffic. There is also a mexican restaurant and sandwich shop on Holiday Isle so again no need to fight the traffic. All of the beds were comfy and the outdoor furniture was very nice and comfortable. We have stayed in this house three times and I would not hesitate to book it again.

Pipe Dream was a great place at the perfect location. The property manager responded in a timely manner to the one question we had (with the tv). Plenty of bedrooms and space to hold everyone at all ages. The living area and kitchen/dining were spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of counter space. The main deck was great for lounging in the shade and for visiting. The elevator was very useful for getting luggage to the bedrooms. The best amenities were the location with its private beach access and special ice maker with ice for drinks. We will stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: the house was great - beautiful views of the ocean, and steps away from the sand. my only complaint is the service we had from the property management company/owner was less than ideal. we had an emergency issue our second night, and i was left to solve the issue on my own. despite calling the emergency number, it was not until 2 days later anyone came out to the house, and they were not able to fix the ultimate issue before we left. it was increasingly troublesome for us given that the issue was in the bathroom of the bedroom our son was sleeping in. simple things like wanting to use the bikes at the house, but we couldn't so much as get the property management company to get back to us with the codes for the locks that were on them. i was very disappointed in the lack of responsiveness, particularly with a house of this caliber. i'm not sure what it was - if I upset them, or if they really didn't care to be overly responsive and communicative, which i have come to appreciate with other AirBnB rentals we have used (and we have used a lot!). like i said - the house is great, and you can't beat the convenience to hop right on the private beach. views are amazing from the living room, kitchen, and 2 upstairs bedrooms. you are also less than 10 minutes away from Target and WinnDixie, which is extremely convenient. I think the property management company can and will do better for other clients, so i wouldn't let this stand in your way of booking this home.

The 6/10 rating could easily be a 9 or 10, but it was evident that this home is not very well taken care of. We called the rental folks several times and they were polite, responsive and fixed most of our immediate concerns, but some of these things should have never made it to our visit. For the cost of this high end rental we would have expected everything to be in good working order. The following were a few of the things we noticed while on our visit,-One of the entry doors was broken and could not be opened-All of the glass doors and windows looking out onto the ocean were covered in grime. You could tell where someone half attempted to wash them, but it was a failed (not even trying) type of attempt. This is the first thing we saw upon entering the main floor and honestly it was a bit heart breaking. -7 of the 10 chairs on the porch were either ripped or bent to a degree that no-one wanted to sit on them. These are heavy duty steel & fabric chairs and there is no way that someone from the rental company hadn't seen this in the past. For the cost of the unit, replace the darn chairs !!-It appeared that there was a nice electric fireplace, surround sound system, etc. but there weren't any directions on how to use anything. We've been in our share of very nice rental properties and 9 out of 10 have some instruction on how to use the equipment.-The shower in the bunk room did not work but was fixed promptly when we spoke with the rental company.-Pots and pans are nearly non existent and the ones that are there are unusable. We went out and bought a new pan and left it at the rental for the next group of renters.-This house is in a very nice private gated community with some amenities, like pools and shuffle board. It would have been nice to have some literature inside the rental related to these amenities and maybe

Reviewer Comments: We have just returned to Ct. after spending a week in beautiful Destin at 53 Destin Pointe 53, Pipe Dream.The home had plenty of space for the 10 people in our party . The decor and the furnishings were exceptional as was the beachfront location. That being said, there were some negatives which I feel should be addressed. Prior to booking, the description stated that 2 bikes came with the rental. Not so, I called the agency and they stated the owners pulled the bikes and they were no longer available. There were no beach chairs, umbrellas or water toys.We have rented a number of beach homes from New Jersey, Delaware and the Carolinas and it was always a given that these items would be available with the house. So in addition to paying over $16,000 for the week, we spent an additional $500 on these things. We had to leave everything behind at the house because we were flying home. There were also no games or cards to play on family nights. There was also no WiFi service on the third floor which made it difficult for my 2 sons to do some remote work. The worst issue however was the bug issue. On the third day, we had hundreds of tiny ants in a corner along with numerous earwigs. If that wasnt bad enough, we saw a number of cockroaches (3 inch Palmetto bugs) scurrying along the kitchen floor and climbing walls. This was extremely upsetting for all 10 of us ( especially given the price that we paid for this rental ) but I can honestly say the 4 children were traumatized and wanted to stay in their rooms. We were all very careful with no food left on the counters and everything was sealed.We kept all patio doors closed so Im not really sure where they came from. We called Beyond Blue and they sent out an exterminator within an hour but it didnt help much as we saw them for another day and a half. I feel this serious issue should have been dealt with before the start of our trip.For these reasons, I would not rent this property again.
