The place was great, located near the beach with private entrance to the beach and chair rental included. Did not have to travel with anything for the beach, they have extra chairs toys and a wagon to take stuff to the beach. 5-8 min Ubers to the pier. Kitchen had everything we needed. Only few things will be great for the apartment is to have new shower curtain since it had a bit of mold in the bottom and maybe some air fresheners will make the place feel more like home. But besides that, vacation on the beach is not like you will be spending much time at the rbnb. Most of the time is spent outside

Our host was so accommodating and helpful. We loved the accommodations. The pool was warm, even though the temperature outside was cold. It was two minute walk to the beach.

Amazing Location

Perfect for what I was looking for---came to Florida for the warmth and the sun. This location was perfect for exactly that. The proximity to the beach was awesome along with the private access. Slightly confusing when the code was changed mid stay but not all access points were changed. Comiing into the property was still the old code but exiting was the new. Saw others struggle with this as well. The bed was very uncomfortable and I was not impressed with the rules that included taking out the garbage and stripping beds at end of stay. Don't mind doing it but for the amount paid, shouldn't have been required. Very miminmal provided---had to buy toilet paper mid stay as only 1 roll and a partial was provided and no kleenex. Used broom and dustpan to sweep up floors but a small vacuum would have been appreciated. Property could use to be cleaned better---the patio doors were filthy and needs maintenance work--the bifold door on laundry closet came off the track on one end the first time I opened it. Overall, it worked for what I was looking for since I spent the entire stay at the beach and was alone but the rules were excessive and the price could have been lower because of it as well as the general upkeep better. The stairs, as others have mentioned, aren't the easiest to maneuver with heavy luggage. I would stay again but would request a lower level unit and be cognizant of the price for what is provided and expected to be handled by the guest.

Surprised to find that communication was not the best. We had a problem with the glass door lock getting stuck. We got locked in the condo for about 15-20 minutes which was pretty scary but we were able to finally get it unlocked. I let the host know so this doesn’t happen to anyone else and did not get a response. I also reached out to ask about check out information and didn’t get a response either. The condo itself was nice. Close to the beach and a very nice pool.

Family Vacation in Destin

This was a great find for a great price in Destin. We wanted a kitchen, laundry, and a little more room than a hotel could provide; and this fit the bill perfectly. Great communication, clean home, perfect little getaway right by the beach. Our kids loved being so close to the pool and beach everyday; made it so easy and convenient. Loved our stay in Destin! Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.
Absolutely gorgeous beach views!
A view of the private beach access for Sandpiper Cove from our Seablaster Dolphin Cruise boat. So much fun to see so many dolphins!
Fun on the beach, catching sun, sand, and waves.

Was not easy to find the unit; as apartment numbers are not consecutive; and the map given at the gate was confusing. Had to call the Host for help. The only other negative thing, for me personally due to some physical limitations, was that the apartment is located on the second floor, with 18 steps and no elevator. However, once settled in, our stay was fantastic. Patience and helpfulness of the phenomenal host more than made up for the above mentioned things that were a bit irritating after a long drive, with my physical limitations. Next time; and there will be a next time; I will make it known that I will need a ground floor unit. The facility itself is beautiful and well situated for easy access to Destin's beaches and most attractive facilities
