Sterling Shores is under renovation for a beautification project in which they are working on all balconies and walkways to the condos. Due to this beautification process, one pool closest to the building may close in November very briefly. No other amenities will be affected. Renovations are currently in progress Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The renovation is set to be finished by 1/29/2026. If bad weather interferes with the beautification process, renovations could continue into February. If there are any updates, I will let you know. We have blocked down the units that are primarily affected by this construction. June-Labor Day is painting the exterior and should not cause much of a disturbance. After Labor Day, you may experience floor grinding noise and dust. We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and we hope you enjoy your stay!

This place is well worth the money. It sits in the middle of all the action so you’re in between everything you need and being a short distance from Walmart was awesome. The balcony has the most astonishing views you could possibly wish for and that alone is worth the price of admission. There were a couple things that would have sweetened the stay but Everything can’t be perfect. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking at getting away for a romantic vacation or just a good old-fashioned family trip with the kids.

The unit was clean and stocked ok. The bedrooms are alittle small. No where to put your luggage and get to it easily. The complex is nice and pools where good size. Beach access is ok. Will stay at complex again but in a bigger unit next time.

The condo was nice except for the mattress in small room was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Our guest didn’t sleep very well at all. I would invest in a new one. The elevators in building didn’t work a half of the time. A lot of customers complained. Other than that it was great.

From the day we moved in with a broken lock that they didn’t fix when they said they were going to fix it so our things were in our room unlocked from about 4 o’clock in the afternoon until 8 o’clock at night when we returned and called to complain that it hadn’t been fixed yet. It had been broken by Sterling Shores Maintenance man. The day and a half later the kitchen sink fell out and down breaking pipes. We couldn’t use the sink or the dishwasher for 2 1/2 days until they got it fixed. They only refunded us for two days not 2 1/2.

The unit is cute and clean. Previous comments are accurate. The mattresses definitely need to be replaced. They will likely be worse than your home mattress. The 2nd bedroom is very small. So much so that there is not room to open your suitcase.

We came down for fall break and loved staying at Sterling Shores. Any needs were immediately met. The room was perfect for what we needed. Loved the view and loved the 2 pool options. Much closer to the beach than expected so was very pleased with that. Overall a great stay and condo!!!

We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The facilities were perfect, and staff was quickly responsive to any concern or need. The convenience of being in walking distance to the beach was great, and the kids loved the pool. We may make this an annual thing while they're still young. 10/10

This place was in a great location with a spacious family room and kitchen area. The second bedroom was extremely small with no closet. 2 people would never fit in there. The baseboards and corners needed a good cleaning.

Loved location, cleanliness of rooms and facility. Easy walk to Beach, and Back porch seafood restaurant, and candy store. LaWana Rasmussen (Local Operations Manager Sterling Shores) and Sherilynn Sailers (Front Desk Specialists - Sterling Shores Condominiums) were both friendly and helpful in finding a remote for the dvd in our room. There was a mix-up in our room regarding some emails for different customer/room, that caused some confusion upon arrival, but they cleared that up quickly at the front desk upon our arrival. Also, the cleaning wipes in the exercise room were out the entire week so I could not wipe down equipment according to gym rules posted on the wall. Those are minor issues however, and overall I rate our stay as outstanding, and we plan to come back again next year and hopefully get the same room 315 again. LaWana said October is a great time to come, since it is less crowded, still warm and has lots of local festivals and lower rates during that time. We will be checking local beach cams and rates and consider October for our next trip back.
