CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: AMENITY CLOSINGS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 27, 2025

SunDestin Beach Resort is currently undergoing exterior construction around the property. The indoor pool, outdoor pool, and on-site restaurant are projected to be closed until the beginning of January 2026.

Please be aware that construction activity may result in noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. Our goal is to keep you informed ahead of time so you can make the most of your stay with us.

Parking in the main lot may be limited. Please note that the drive-through area at the main lobby entrance, typically used for loading and unloading luggage, may be temporarily closed. Each one-and two-bedroom condo is allowed one vehicle only. Any additional cars will need to park in the overflow lot across the street.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as the resort works to improve and enhance the overall guest experience.

Exercise enthusiasts will appreciate the fitness facility and indoor pool (heated seasonally), while avid beach goers will enjoy seasonal amenities, including beach chair/umbrella rentals (fee) and outdoor tiki bar. Enjoy complimentary DVD rentals at your leisure and pick up supplies and mementos at the gift shop, conveniently located in the lobby. Hold memorable workshops or host family reunions in the  more than 3,000 s.f. of meeting space on property. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.

SunDestin Unit 0701 is a bright, sun-filled two bedroom, two bathroom condo accommodating up to six. Rejuvenate in this spacious, uplifting sanctuary bathed in refreshing colors with natural elements scattered throughout. No need to go out for dinner after a long day in the sun as the kitchen is fully-appointed and loaded with everything needed to feed a crowd. Relax at the breakfast bar, dining table, or in the living room with a flat-screen TV. Savor pristine views and breathtaking sunsets on the private balcony, directly overlooking the gulf. Retire on the queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room, in the guest room with twin beds and a flat-screen TV, or in the master suite, with a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, en suite bathroom, and private access to the balcony.

Tour Destin by land on a Segway, rent a pontoon boat and explore by water, or see the sights from above while parasailing. Check out Destin however you choose as no view is a bad one!

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their  stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Wonderful!!!

We had such a great time!!! The unit was clean and had a wonderful view..completely as advertised! We arrived earlier than the 4pm check in and the front desk prioritized our unit to get us in there a few hours early. After driving all night was very much appreciated! We would love to come back!!

Terrible Managment and Staff

The onsite manager was EXTREMELY rude, and he was disrespectful to my mother and my husband. The room was nice and the workers at the onsite restaurant were very nice. Overall, I would not recommend staying here, I know we will never be back.

The condo was beautiful. I just would like to recommend bigger pans for the kitchen, took me forever to cook breakfast for 6 with 1 frying pan. Had to go to Walmart to purchase pans such an inconvenience. But overall my family had a wonderful stay.

Dirty Sundestin!!¡

We go Every year to Destin Florida, usually we go to Pelikan Resort and i told my wife to change and we choice SunDestin., but i never make the mistake again, roaches, big roaches on the rooms!!!! Restrooms no clean well done, sorry guys you need to check the Restrooms before the check in, smelled like fish all the apartment.

First family vacation

This condo was the perfect location for a first time family vacation to the beach. The complex had a nice pool and hot tub. We frequented the gift shop which had many helpful grocery items that we needed. The condos were convenient to other attractions, many we could walk to. The master bath had a horrible smell when the fan wasn’t turned on, the front desk could have been more helpful with local attraction questions and the washing machines on the floor we were on and the floor below were out of order. Besides those minor issues, it was a great place to stay. Plenty of space for our family of five.

Beautiful view!

The condo was nice, my daughter LOVED the splash pad. Our room was nice our only complaint was the floors, they needed to be cleaned better. There was dirt spots, it was sticky and there was sand left over from the previous renters. I know it’s on the beach and it would be impossible to get every speck but it was a lot of sand, almost like it wasn’t cleaned at all.

Our yearly Oct visit.

Most of Sun Destins under construction. I originally reserved ocean view this unit is but barely. Was clean nice place but not what i reserved. I reserved a condo months in advance and found out a week prior of the construction and 2 days prior my room was not available. No pool, no Jacuzzi, no sauna the work out gyms one step above motel 6 standards, my boys were told they will not be replacing the jacuzzi.. We have stayed at SunDestin for 5 years in a row, this year due to the construction we regret the stay.. the noise the dust the roaches nothing for the boys to do. the room did NOT have smart tvs, unable to watch any streaming channels. This years stay is hard to swallow and justify esp when we drove 14 hrs and paid thousands$ for a week. The people were great, Destin its self was amazing as always the condo One step above motel 6. Had we known about the condition of SunDestin we would have stayed somewhere else..

Worst experience this time

We have been to the sun destin numerous times and this was our worst experience over this Thanksgiving holiday this year of 2021. We had a lot of problems with this unit. We also had standing water outside our door and never had a drop of rain which makes me concerned about the stability of this building.
