"Hotel Santa Cruz in Huaraz is the best hotel in town! I booked a mountain view room for 4 nights and was treated to wonderful panoramic views of Huascaran and the rest of the Blancas every morning. "This was a great location close enough to the center of town to walk, but nice and quiet at the hotel. I missed my flight and needed to let them know, getting in touch was a bit challenging, but it all worked out. Very clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable beds. They held my luggage for 8 days, arranged transportation, etc. I would stay here again."

"This is a well-maintained hotel with a friendly, attentive staff. The tv in the room has many channels, some of which had the option to view the programming in with either Spanish or English audio. The breakfast buffet was good, offering limited but tasty options. I have one complaint, though. For both the sink and the shower, there appeared to be no mechanism to control the temperature of the water."
