"This is a beautiful historic hotel and I recommend staying here. My only complaint would be the Spa. The treatment itself was lovely and relaxing but the spa itself lacked style, coziness and the treatment room itself was sterile."

"夕食が美味しくなかったです。食事は旅行の楽しみの一つなのでかなり残念でした。温泉は家族風呂がとても良かったです。スタッフは親切とは言えませんが悪くは有りませんでした。"

"We had most beautiful stay here, we had a room with the private onsen and it was so nice we almost didn’t want to leave the room! We had the best nights sleep in the comfy beds and the bathroom/ shower area was gorgeous! Would recommend to everyone :)"

"The staff was very nice and helpful and the place was beautiful. Would recommend buying mosquito repellent in advance as the outside was swarming"

"The river it is next to has a check-dam right infront of the river side rooms, making the balconies very loud. If you pay extra for the in room onsen, then it is not as tranquil as you might expect. Otherwise the hotel is very nice. Also If you have a child and want to use the pull out bed, they will charge an extra use fee on top of the room charge which is not insignificant. Overall having booked the larger room that sleeps 3 with the private onsen, we did not exactly get the experience we...

"We stayed at this property for two nights and absolutely loved it! The location was fantastic and easily one of the highlights of our Japan trip. Everything we needed was conveniently located in one place, so you really can’t go wrong with this property. The amenities were next-level, and the attention to detail truly stood out. Having travelled quite a bit, I was genuinely impressed by the breakfast buffet, especially the dedicated counter with food options for babies — such a thoughtful and...

"Overall, we had a great stay at Rakuten Stay Fuji View Hakone, and would definitely recommend it.” The heated floors, tatami room, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, and projector for movies and music made the space feel cozy and thoughtful. The indoor and outdoor hot spring baths were a real highlight. The location is super convenient, close to the bus station, restaurants, and shops, which made everything easy. Check-in was smooth, and the instructions were clear enough that we didn’t need to...

"Lovely staff, wonderful meals and a beautiful building (from the outside). Unfortunately the hallways were really musty and run down and the room, while gorgeous (we had our own outdoor onsen, which was divine!), was really damp. The bedding felt damp and the pillows were hard as rocks. Incredible history in this building, with a quirky little museum to wander, but it needs to be renovated."

"チェックイン〜チェックアウトまでなんの不便もない。 そんな中、意味深だがスパは別会社かな？？"

"Some of the technology is outdated"

"It was a good deal for the stay here. Both lunch and dinner were a lot for one person. The hot spring here is okay, not that nice because public bath is nothing interesting with just one big bath inside and one outside. The problem is the staffs don't speak English well and don't try to explain or tell you about their amenities and things they have or do there. Everything was good except for experience with staffs in the lobby and I found hair twice in both my lunch and dinner, which is...

"Exceptional place to stay in Hakone, Highly recommended, a lot of things to do for kids including the indoor water park - only giving 4 out of 5 stars due to early check out times, we requested for 10-15 mins extra but was told we have to pay, Apart from that an excellent place, will stay again here"

"家族のお誕生日に利用させていただきました。スタッフの方々の対応が、とても素晴らしく、とても素敵な時間を過ごすことができました。お誕生日ケーキも蝋燭をつけて、夕食に提供してくださり、大変ありがたかったです。 また、温泉も良く、全てに癒されました。"

"Hands done the best service I ever experienced. The food was sensational. Everyone should experience this."
