"The room was clean but the building we stayed in had a strange smell that lingered in the room the whole time we were there. It was a good room for one night. We have travelled a lot and for many years. I do not remember ever meeting a hotel staff that was as accommodating, kind, professional, genuinely interested in solving problems than these folks were. The only thing that matches their level of customer care in our experience is the Holiday Inn Express in Saugus Mass. near Boston. Was thankful to secure a last-minute booking at this hotel when our flight to Boston was cancelled. The location was beautiful. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, and they were even able to accommodate our need for three people in one room.The free breakfast was tasty. The desk workers were unfailingly helpful and patient, even when slammed with bookings from others from our cancelled flight.

My fiancé and I have visited Sao Miguel twice before, staying in Ponta Delgado, and decided to venture out of the city center. We were not disappointed with our stay here. The location was beautiful, the hotel was modern and refreshing, overall it was a wonderful experience and would certainly stay again and recommend to anyone looking for something off the beaten path with all the amenities and views anyone would need. - chris M. 6/19/18
