I can honestly say that this is the first negative review we have ever left for a hotel so it is not something that we find joy in doing. "We arrived around 6.30pm during a crazy storm, the down pour was full on. The signs could be clearer, our driver struggled to get up the steep hill so we walked with our bags. Staff were great, had dinner in the room and cocktails, tasted great. Room was nice with great views. We would happily stay here again. "

"Hi this is a slightly more expensive for the area but for us it was worth it. There was a hidden surprise for us as they have an infinity pool on the roof and sundeck which had views to die for. The breakfast was excellent the games room was fun and the staff took no hesitation to join in with playing games with my son. "Located away from the hustle and bustle town of Ella but tuk tuk is easily accessible. We loved our front and back balcony that overlooks the mountains. So peaceful and full of wildlife. "Overall I would recommend a stay at Ella Ridge View but with a few caveats. It is a tucked away down a narrow road and a bit rough around the edges. We stayed in a room in the older building — and it wasn’t super clean. If you’re willing to look past that you will be rewarded with the best breakfast and best views. There is a family that lives on the ground floor and the staff are all very accommodating. "

"The view was absolutely amazing, but unfortunately the hotel booster pump was directly above our room, & could hear it running all night. The booster pump noise was completed by the smell of the septic tank coming through the bathroom vent, adding to the negative experience of the hotel. The hard mattress and the lack of bedding was the icing on the cake. You’ll probably want to find different accommodation. "
