Really, really nice hotel in all aspects (well, it's pricey - but it's worth it)
Location is awesome - two blocks from La Ramblas, tons of small restaurants and bars in all directions, very quiet for a very touristy place. We had effectively two rooms - a normal, bedroom-like room and one more, living room of some sort two steps away across the hall. Hotel looks recently renovated and it is in great shape. Perhaps, that's where the only downside comes in. The new, super fancy design extends the...

very special hotel , super privet, top of the line with a very strong attention to details.
the most friendly , helpful service possible. the stuff are truly caring and friendly and helped
us feel at home in the hotel and in the city very quickly.
Rooms are sound and light proof - combine that with a very good Bed and you are at risk to never leave the hotel- set an Alarm.. we did'nt :-) many good placed to both visit and eat right next door.
a very good choice - we will be back for sure.

This property in the Eixample was just what we wanted and needed. Quick walk to Gran Via and Passeig de Gracia as well as Metro stations (Urquinaona is closest). We also found more than enough to eat short walks away with some great tapas stops. We walked to Placa de Catalunya and La Rambla very easily.
Location allowed us to stroll past Gaudi buildings at our leisure: Casa Calvet is right across the street! We were able to see Casa Batllo by day and night - very different experiences! La...

1. Hotel: Well appointed with nice interiors. Our room was a duplex suite with a terrace. The room itself is slightly small but the experience is big. Nice lighting and 1 1/2 bathroom and a safe. The terrace was lovely- morning breakfast with a view of the Grand via is totally worth spending the extra buck. Would certainly recommend spending the extra buck and going for the duplex suite if you're here for honeymoon/relaxation/or just a couples vacation.

Room Mate Gerard is a beautiful hotel with a pleasant and accommodating staff. It is conveniently located near metro stations, two of the Gaudi houses, shopping, and Plaza Catalunya which is a departure point for many day tours. The hotel breakfast buffet was well stocked with a variety of food and beverages. I would definitely choose this hotel again upon returning to Barcelona!

The staff was friendly and amazing! Loved the nightly, turn down service with chocolates. The bedding and pillows were so comfortable, I could have stayed in bed all day!! The spa was amazing! I swear the masseuse has magic hands because my back and legs were sore for days from all the walking I had been doing...and after the massage I was pain free!! I had food and drinks at the rooftop - food, drinks, service were all wonderful. The location is great and walking distance too many shops,...

Great stay in Barcelona! Beautiful five star hotel. Be sure you get an upgrade room NOT a corner as it was small for our friends. Lovely neighborhood, easy to get to other areas walking or by taxi. Very safe. Hotel staff was outstanding. Hotel has amazing veranda for cocktails, and the décor was very upscale. Lap pool on roof was beautiful. Bar area lovely. This was definitely a five star. Worth the money.

We had a fantastic stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, the neighborhood is quiet, and it's very easy to get to city center. Our room was lovely & spacious, with a large terrace on which we enjoyed the excellent room service breakfast each morning. The staff are friendly, incredibly helpful, & very professional. They speak impeccable English. The spa was also lovely - we made use of the hot tub & pool. We also got massages - the masseuses were great & very nice. The only disappointing part...

This was a great choice to stay before our cruise. It was a taxi ride from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the port (all taxis are metered and there are plenty of them). There were a few restaurant options around. We didn't get a chance to really see a lot of Barcelona, but it was a nice stay.

We stayed at Hotel Europark for two nights after our cruise, and it got off to a lovely surprise — our room was ready when we arrived early in the morning (around 7–8 AM), well before the usual check-in time. There was complimentary welcome water and a bottle of cava waiting in the room, a really nice touch. The room was clean, tidy, and beautifully kept; the staff were warm and friendly; and breakfast was generous. The location is very convenient too — an easy walk to the Sagrada Família and...

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay. Service and staff were first rate. Several restaurants and cafés close by. Nice quiet neighborhood that's well within walking distance of most major sites. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, very nice room but most importantly very nice staff! Let me leave the bags before and after check in/out and very pleasant. Actually booked a second stay already! Highly recommend

My finace and I stayed here for two nights at the end of September, wrapping up a two-week vacation to Spain. We chose the Hotel Bagues primarily because of its location but we also liked the idea of staying at an ultra-modern, boutique-style hotel which had a stunning roof-top lounge. From the moment we arrived, we were treated as honored guests. The staff at the Bagues are simply first-rate professionals who understand the business of making their guests feel welcome. Case in point: we came...
