This roadside pub with inn above was so convenient for my stopover to Highclere Castle, it’s a shame I didn't have more time there. The staff is friendly, the room is comfortable and quiet, the shower has great water pressure.

Staying at Ye Olde Red Lion was a fun experience. It is probably the most unique place I've stayed with its blending of old, old and new and updated rooms. I would stay here again. We were in Arran Room which was very nice other than the mattress should be replaced. It is uncomfortable. The outside grounds need some cleaning and TLC, too. Always an exceptional stay. The sleeping rooms are clean with comfortable beds and well appointed. The restaurant food is very good with friendly service.

We had an absolutely wonderful one-night stay at 41. We felt pampered from the minute that we entered 41. Extremely impressed with the whole experience. Loved our stay at the Crab & Boar, a quintessential English country inn. The staff is friendly, easygoing, quite helpful and even went above and beyond for us. Dave and Tammy were fantastic. The food was quite good. Prices seem reasonable. Drive to close by Newbury is a short distance. Very nice and handy Speedy Queen launderette in town. Quiet but for the occasional car whizzing by. Clean & Comfortable

Arrived early but no problem checking in. Lovely spacious room. Good bathroom/shower. Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast - asked if we could have breakfast 30minutes earlier and no problem.

Excellent breakfast. Air conditioning was very much appreciated during heat spell. Bar staff regularly and kindly gave my wife ice for her water. Parking sometimes a challenge but we always found a spot. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Great hotel and location for Windsor, plus a great option as a stay for our outbound departure from Heathrow. Ultimately an easier pivot to the airport compared to any lodging options in Central London.

Great room! Very different staying above a bar/ restaurant but it was great!! Could not hear anything! The only problem was parking and bringing your luggage up two fights of stairs.

The staff was fantastic. I didn’t have A/C in my room. They immediately ran to get me a fan and moved me the next day in to a new room. The staff was very helpful and hospitable. I stayed and had dinner there on a few of the nights on my week stay and every employee they had working were super friendly. Would stay there again.
