We arrived to a dirty property with cobwebs, bugs in the pantry, used toothbrush and razors, holes in walls, mould in the shower, stains on the carpet and bed head and ripped curtains. We did not end up staying due to the condition and the person would not refund stay or the cleaning fee as she believed we had stayed in the beds but we had just checked the condition of the sheets to see if they were clean. "A great place to stay, on the edge of the city, close to transport, cafes and the VIC Market. Rooms are always clean and tidy, the staff friendly and the price excellent. On site parking makes it easy for country travellers. Have stayed here many times over the years and it is always my first choice when booking a city stay or an early morning trip to the airport, which was the purpose of this visit. Just 19 minutes to the airport and easy as to access."

"We love the Victoria Hotel we stay there as often as we can when we visit the city. Vic's bar is great for pre and post dinner drinks. Mr Munro's is a decent buffet breakfast. This visit was thexfirst ti.e that we've had a room overlooking Little Collins St and it was far too noisey for us. We'll just request rooms at the back from now on."
