Hotel with a Concierge in Burundi from AED61

"This was our first trip to Burundi and Kiriri Garden hotel was an excellent location overlooking Bujumbura and Lake Tanganyika. The hotel was beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly. Rooms were excellent. "

"It is not a hotel, it is someones residence and the owners are having wrangles over the property. My stay was interrupted for days, i need a refund."

"Great location, nice decor, good AC, good food in the restaurant, good staff. However, some basic things needs sorting out - very poor WiFi, hot water issues sometimes, the bed is too small length wise, the cleaners never knock on the door unless you put a sign outside your room, electricity is a nationwide issue so expect long blackouts especially at night. Whilst these issues persist, the hotel should consider reducing room rates and be transparent with guests about some of the issues so as to set the right expectations."

"HIbiscus was a wonderful place for my short stay. It was affordable with quality and centrally located in town. The setting hides the peaceful spaces away from the street. "

"Internet, water,and power are turned off most of the day. If you want water for the shower or toilet you would ask the front desk and within 3 hours you would recieve cold water. I stayed there a month with no hot water ever. Swimming pool was a pond open to the community. No TV. This is camping, not staying at a nice hotel. The windows in the 4 different rooms i stayed in were broken. They would move me each time something would brake. "

"Very dishonest staff and the manager did not help the situation. I checked in when I had a standard room and I requested a room for two beds and asked if I would be charged. They told me I would not be charged. I also double-checked the following day with the front desk and told me I would not be charged. Upon checking out, they told me I was charged $144. Terrible and the manager did help the situation. It was my first time to Burundi and had this terrible welcome at this hotel and will never stay here again. I would never recommend this hotel. Watch out "
