"We could not do the visit due to a family emergency and needed to move the dates of our stay.. "We booked a privilege room. It had enough space and was very quiet - no external noise at all. Location is the best of any hotel in Bayeux. Right on the Main Street in the middle of all the restaurants, bars shops etc. all day tours depart from the street at the back of the hotel. It’s less than a 15 min walk to/from the train station. There are plenty of taxis. All staff were super friendly and helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. Room was spacious enough, clean and quiet. Aircon and wifi both were excellent. Breakfast was ok. The front desk team were the highlight. So friendly, so helpful. We stayed for a week and didn’t run out of things to do. There so much much more the Bayeux than D-Day beaches. We loved Churchill Hotel and would definitely return."
