"Our Mother/daughter stay in Balai sa Baibai was short and sweet…the staff were very friendly, warm and accommodating. No frills and fanfare…basic accommodations, pool was clean. Place was quiet and the sound of roosters crowing in the morning was perfect! I love Filipino food…their chicken adobo was divine…banana turon and ice cream was the best! Hummus was also very delicious. Gambas was good too! Mattress could be updated, but overall…I would recommend this place to everyone "

"Very quiet and peaceful in the Romantic Room and Lava Room. The sea is a short walk down and each room has a pool on the balcony. The food is good, albeit at a resort price. The walk down from the road and back up is vigorous and sets the mood proper. I would definitely come back here again."

"A great value for your money. The unit was clean and came with a kitchen sink, large fridge and kettle. The bathroom was basic but clean and had hot water. Bedroom had a TV but we never turned it on, only gripe in room was mattresses were the 5-6in dense foam, very common in the Philippines but way to firm for my wife’s liking. "Breakfast was very delicious with a myriad of food ,great tasting lots to choose from wait staff were very focused courteous and helpful .Hotel was Beautiful i am ex Military Combat Vet and in my later yrs in construction so i really admired the attention to detail in the materials and finishes of the esthetics ,very charming elegance and ambiance loved the heated pool .The rooms were very spacious and loved the layout everyone at front desk was very couteous and answered any queries we had efficiently best hotel i ve been in overall in the Philippines You guys ARE ALL AWESOME."
