"Good value for the price. Lovely large room and friendly staff on reception - enjoyed the Welsh cakes given on arrival. Nice seating area near the entrance to relax in."

"Great place to stay"

"Friendly hotel, helpful staff and great food. I'll be back."

"Lovely room, very spacious and cosy"

"A note that the amenities were in a different hotel, so you’ll need to walk across the street for an open bar/restaurant."

"This hotel has lovely views and great staff, my room was not what it showed on the pics, mattress and pillows very old and uncomfortable and need changing, I had to put towels over my quilt as the room was so cold through the night as they turned the heating off and it was almost zero degrees outside. I can’t fault the staff at all and it was a nice atmosphere but that let it down for me"

"Excellent stay. Highly recommend. Stunning setting. Great food (diner and breakfast)."

"Our hosts were very helpful with local area of interest. Castles, walks, cafes and pubs. They were extremely accommodating and always on call."

"Lovely room with an amazing view. Facilities were great, and there were lots of lovely little touches, such as the dressing gowns. "All the staff I came across had a lovely helpful attitude. The room was basic, but that was what I paid for. Every where was clean. They have added double glazing inside the sash windows so although room was on the main high street it was super quiet - had a great night's sleep. Didn't have breakfast, but did have an evening meal which was OK nothing special."
