"It was simply amazing. A rustic, no-key turn key suite which was more than comfortable and clean. If you do not like dogs, this may not be the resort for you as the owners keep them. Beautiful beach. The only drawback was the toilet area which was too small for my husband so I would not suggest it for anyone over 200 lbs. Apart from that it was quite comfortable with a rustic feel surrounded by natural vegetation away from the road."

Spectacular Ocean Front Home with a Beautiful Secluded Sandy Beach.

"The house was very nice. It was equipped with everything we needed. Unfortunately the sea weed and trash on the beach was very disappointing. I've never seen so much trash washing ashore. We did find two sea pigs in all the garbage! We read on the reviews how good the snorkeling was right at the property and we were only able to get in the water there one time in our two week stay. Nikki was very responsive. Having a generator was great as the power does go out. Bonus being so close to Da Pink Chicken! Patti was gone but Dean was still entertaining. Overall it was good."

"We loved every minute of our mini vacation. The house and property were outstanding. The owner, Stephanie was amazing with her communication and travel information. Highlights of our short visit were the Healing Hole and the Hawks Nest Marina. The property was one of a kind with its own kayak marina and snorkeling cove. The house and property were the best. We loved swimming in the pool that overlooks this amazing view. The crystal clear water views from the porch was something we will always remember. The best was the sound of the ocean and the lights from the stars at night. This is truly a very special vacation spot that we would highly recommend. Thank you Stephanie and care taker Harrison."

"Everything at the house and on the island was absolutely wonderful! The options at Hidden Treasure and Curly’s offered delicious, top-quality food along with refreshing drinks you’ll love. If you're dreaming of pristine white sand beaches, no crowds, crystal-clear waters, and a rich cultural experience, this destination truly has it all. If you're looking for fishing, Amanda had great recommendations—thanks again, Carl! And if you want to sail for the day, and Dave Calver Sails charter is near the island during your visit. Seth is an amazing captain and chef. Just a friendly reminder to bring some cash with you!"

"Stunning sea view from every window in the house. The photos on VRBO are not as good as the actual property. The house itself is very high end and great value for money. There is also the best snorkeling in the island and a private beach right in front of the house. You will definitely be happy you booked this one!!"

"Cat's Cove is incredible. The perfect place to get away--REALLY get away. The beaches are beautiful-can't describe it. Aqua seas at your doorstep with curious, colorful fish just offshore.House is stunning-just as pictured. Two bedroom suites at opposite ends, each with a bath. A third bedroom sits between them--Perfect for kids! The kitchen is fully equipped-even an ice maker (a true luxury on any island)! The beds are comfy and the rooms comfortable with or without the A/C units. The grounds are stunning &fragrant. You'll be visited on the patio/tiki by curious lizards. Be sure to take time to enjoy the cool, shaded Tiki Bar. It's truly a dream. Owner Cat & caretakers Debbie & Tinny were helpful & responsive.Cat Island itself is amazing! No development here-it's pristine & unspoiled. The new airport and roadways seem to indicate it's on the way. The island people are delightful to experience.A few tips: The grocery stores have very limited supplies which can be a challenge. Only liquor stores carry alcohol and there are only a couple on the island.Brief power outages are common.Roads are in poor condition and little signage; improvements are in the works. No see-ums are everywhere so bring serious bug spray--with Deet.Kizzy's, Hidden Treasures & Da Smoke Pot are awesome eateries. (only 3 we tried)Watch for random goats in the roadway, they graze freely here.The healing pond works, if you're adventurous! Use the dock near the Greenwwood Resort."

"For two of us, this property was perfect! It’s designed for 2 couples or small family with 1 & 1/2 bath. I wouldn’t want to share but you easily could. Nothing fancy but perfectly adequate. Good A/C, loved the clothesline and even better, the many hooks inside the house. Easy access to swimming and snorkeling in Cutlass Bay, some shade coverage on deck and terrace near beach. Friends rented The Point House which offered a pool, so it’s a good combo to rent if larger party. Same with Gate House but we didn’t go into that house. Kayaks are fun to use tooCat Island is a laid back, non-touristy island. It forces you to relax. Activities other than swimming, relaxing and light snorkeling are hard to come by. While we didn’t participate, Greenwood has dive and snorkeling trips. So if low activity isn’t your jam, then Cat Island may not be for you. We found it perfect with incredibly friendly people, all extremely helpful and sharing. Do your research on where to eat and you’ll eat well. From this property, on the weekend, you can walk to Da Pink Chicken (recommend!) but need to drive for other dining experiences. We loved Hidden Treasures and Greenwood Beach Club, but it’s wise to call ahead to be sure they are open. Da Smoke Pot was a fun Rake and Scrape experience too. And Olive’s bakery has delicious bread, especially coconut and cinnamon.The New Bight Airport and much welcomed road paving in southern part of island should be done by end of 2026."

"The house is in a terrific location. It is spacious with a great kitchen and all the comfort, very clean. There is also a great laundry. The AC works well, each room has its own. In the bedrooms the AC is a bit loud to the point we turned it off at night but overall not a big problem. Julius the property manager was very responsive and made everything easy."
