"This beautifully designed lodge, on 4000 acres, is a unique experience. 107 free range horses, parrots, monkeys add to the ambience. Large , comfortable a/c rooms, friendly staff, good restaurant ,and lovely pool, make for a memorable stay. Convenient to many sites. Owner’s wife is an excellent artist and has a gallery there. We loved it!"

"We liked the kitchenette, spacious room and laundry service. It is a pleasant and short walk across Hawkesworth Bridge into downtown San Ignacio. The hostess was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our stay in San Ignacio."

"The exterior property was very nice. The rooms were old, needing an update with new furniture, curtains, bedding. Lighting in the room was low. Complimentary coffee in the lobby would be nice. Our room did not have a coffee maker. Nice pool area, nice seating around the facility. I understand it is in new management and look forward to staying there again to see improvements. It was worth the stay. "

"The checking process was the most pleasant due to customer service agent was rude. However, the other front desk agent Christopher was ver friendly and very helpful. I paid about $700US for two bedrooms suite a night. I personally don’t think this hotel is worth the price. The carpet in the hotel is worn out and needs cleaning. "We arrived at 7:35, it was dark and kinda sketchy. We drove up a really dangerous incline and washboarded dirt road to get to a locked gate and no one answering the phone or a honk. We contacted expedia..aka....a robot....and they proceeded to tell me even though i payed the insurance for this exact reason that the people wouldnt give my money back....and they couldnt contact them yet they leave this ad for this property up. Not ok and wont be using this service again. "
