"We booked 2 premier garden view rooms but was greeted with more of a city view and local residents backyards. The property was bigger than expected - but very worn and dated, loved the flowers and trees all around and the various pools. The beach area was ok, sand was rough and packed in - looked man made. "This our 3rd stay at Kandaya. Sadly, lots of upgrading is needed now. We first had a deluxe suite booked. Foul smell was coming from bathroom, TV wasn’t working well and air conditioned was not functioning well. We eventually moved to a villa, which was better but bathroom needs upgrading, tiles from the pool were coming off as well. Gym definitely needs a lot of upgrades. Air condition was always not properly functioning and ALL equipments were so old, most were taped off and too old to use....

"This was our third stay here at Alta. I like the comfort in the rooms, and the property is very peaceful and quiet - with the occasional airplane taking off. The parking lot has always been wide open when I have stayed here, and there is a security guard at the entrance. The Staff have always been super nice and helpful! it looks like a great place to have a company retreat as there are a lot of event spaces available."

"I stayed there three days. They only let you use the inflatable baloon pool for one day and only a short time. How dumb is that? You should be able to use it everyday you are there, not limit it. Who made that decision?"
