Hotel with a Concierge in Costa Rica from AED 99

Went here for our honeymoon after getting married on the beach. This provided the perfect intimate, secluded, and romantic setting we both have ever experienced. I gave this 5 stars because I have no doubt this was the best property in the area. The views are incredible and you are looking at the ocean while you are in the jungle. The free breakfast was a highlight for our family as we all spent time together eating both local and (US) standards. The dinners were equally delicious. The resort was not small by any means, but felt intimate. The staff made you feel special, they took the time to remember your preferences and your name. The resort is very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again

The Staff here are AMAZING! We stayed for only one night before returning to SJO airport. We needed assistance with transportation and the staff here bent over backwards to make calls and help us. This property is clean and has a nice breakfast. The ONLY negative I would give it - the noise. If you cannot sleep with earplugs, you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong booking La Fortuna Lodge.

I was a little worried during the taxi ride to the hotel that I had made a terrible mistake in picking the hotel as some of the areas look a little rough (by American standards), however, once at the gated hotel I realized that I indeed had made a good choice when choosing the location as the property is incredibly calming and beautiful. Just know that since you are out of the city you will need to use Uber eat or a taxi to get food as there is no onsite restaurant.

This resort far exceeded my expectations. Even though it was low season, and the resort appeared to be almost empty of guests, it felt fully staffed and the service was excellent in every respect. From the moment we stepped from our transfer, we were treated royally - the staff is trained well, very friendly, and efficient! The courtyard, used for meals, was lovely - heaters provided for cooler weather. The menus for both breakfast and dinner offered a variety of local as well as international options. We scheduled the hotel to pick us up at airport. It was so nice to get off a long plane ride and see someone holding a card with your name on it. From SJO to Jaco was in a comfortable Mercedes van with cold water and beer waiting for us. Once we got to Club del Mar, it could not have been any better. All the rooms in the property has amazing views of the Arenal Volcano.

The grounds at the hotel are amazing. The tropical gardens that surround the guest rooms, paths, and pool make for a very relaxing stay. The rooms are spaced well apart and have a lot if privacy from the covered verandas. The views are incredible. The location is perfect for exploring and taking advantage of the many activities in the area.

We loved the small 2-bedroom apartment we booked for 3 weeks in July. For 2 kids and one adult it was perfect in size. It got a bit messy when we were 4 people. However, you are usually out and about and everything is close by on foot... Biggest plus: you are at the beach in 3 minutes! The pool is cleaned daily and really well taken care off. The hotel is new and modern. The room is comfortable, the breakfast is pretty fantastic and the staff friendly and attentive. It is located near restaurants and a shopping center. I would stay again

We stayed and Studio Hotel for the second time after the first experience was very pleasurable. The rooms are great, the staff extremely friendly, and the location is hard to beat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff are friendly and helpful and speak English very well, which helps those without strong Spanish. The grounds are beautiful! The little hiking trail is fun and the multiple hot tubs with some privacy were a nice place to relax. They even serve food and drinks at the pool! Had a hard time finding this place because the online directions were wrong. However, the difficulty finding it was more than outweighed by our experience with the hotel itself.
