"De Vere Tortworth Court is a beautiful and unique mansion, completely surrounded by nature, built over 170 years ago. We came to visit the Cotswolds, and this accommodation worked out quite well (it is a 40 mins-1h drive from the main villages). "Beautifully maintained property with expansive grounds and hiking trails that cross the property and so it is brilliant for walking and dogs. The room we had was exceptional and came with a small garden which again was heaven for the dog. The stay in a place like this is always about the staff though, who were great. "The rooms and staff and all were very nice. The town is extremely small though and these gigantic buses came through and dropped off loads of people so it no fault to the hotel but the peaceful tranquility gets a bit lost when there are too many people for the four places in the town."
