"It was very nice to have such a lovely hotel so close to the airport. My experience has often been that properties close to airports use their location as a selling point and do not provide the excellent service and facilities that we experienced at Clayton. The breakfast buffet was a particular standout for variety of choices and quality of food, and the hotel was immaculately kept."

"I liked the location which was near the river which was a lovely walk and it led to the downtown area. It was also in an area which was close to a convenience store. As sure as we are that we have brought everything we need, there is always something forgotten. It's nice if you don't have to go all over to find something to replace what you left. "It's a room for a night to facilitate airport travel, and nothing more. My room was dirty. The shower needs a new curtain that doesn't allow water to just seep through. I booked a shuttle to the airport, and it never came, so I quickly booked the next one. This made me late getting to the airport, and I had to sprint to make my flight, which I just barely made."

Also, lots of mold on the drapes and carpet and wall around the patio doors. Our room faced west and was ground floor. "Appears clean. Feels a little under serviced even for a Travelodge. No amenities to speak of, no hair dryer in room. Bare minimum and small, thin towels. Cigarette smoke smell seems to come through the bathroom vent. Toilet barely flushes. I wouldn't stay again but Swords is a neat town. Price was way too high for what is offered, even for a tourist season Saturday night. Lesson learned."

"Lifts were awkwardly placed. We needed to use the stairs. Noisy. The front desk staff weren’t very helpful. They were not available 24 hours as advertised. I needed to speak to someone overnight. When I went downstairs, there was no-one at the desk. When they were present, they were more focussed on laughing and joking between themselves than on the service of guests."
