"Clean room. Modern and spacious. However found the experience of trying to get a table at The Italian Kitchen restaurant lacking. Dropped into the restaurant around 5:30 to see if I could reserve a table for 30 minutes from then. Was told no, it was first come, first served and to come back in 40min to 1 hour. Came back and was told to try again in an hour, but that they’d add our name to a wait list. It was frustrating that they didn’t mention that we could have added our name to a wait list...

"Was a 15 min walk from terminal 1 but it is not well signed going from the airport to the hotel. It is well signed from the hotel to the airport. They should send instructions on the best route to avoid crossing busy roads."

(our choice) Many properties say they are "green" but their housekeeping staff will change towels daily. We also appreciated the strip at the bottom of the doors to block hallway light. Ingenious! "This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced. Upon arrival, mattresses lined the hallways, and the common areas were in poor condition, cobwebs, dirty windows, and damaged carpets. Our room had a strong odor, and the carpet was ripped and bunched up, exposing sharp tracks and nails. The bathroom was also in bad shape, with a corroding toilet. At the front desk, we were told these issues were known and related to ongoing repairs after housing refugees, along with recent water problems....

"Really good spot to stay in the Swords area. The room was very well appointed and more roomy than some hotels we experienced in Ireland. Really nice bathroom and comfy beds. Very clean and the staff were very helpful — the manager even showed us to our room. No real lobby area in the hotel (check in is at the end of the bar downstairs) and minimal parking onsite, but we didn’t care about that. "We loved staying at the White Sands Hotel. We enjoyed being across the street from the beach. Watching the sunrise over the ocean was a special treat! The restaurant served delicious food. Highly recommend to anyone."

"The bathroom was almost impossible to bath in, and was dirty. The bedroom sheets smelled as if the Saint Patrick's Battalion had also there, also the pillows. There were no hangers in closet, with the owners things there that have us almost no space to hang a few things for us to hang. The zone where the property is, was very nice, shops close by were friendly and the pub was great! We can say that the only good thing was the coffee selection, and the location of the property."
