(our choice) Many properties say they are "green" but their housekeeping staff will change towels daily. We also appreciated the strip at the bottom of the doors to block hallway light. Ingenious! We were able to access our room a bit early and the front desk staff coordinated 3 separate reservations that allowed us to stay in one room instead of moving. This was...

"This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced. Upon arrival, mattresses lined the hallways, and the common areas were in poor condition, cobwebs, dirty windows, and damaged carpets. Our room had a strong odor, and the carpet was ripped and bunched up, exposing sharp tracks and nails. The bathroom was also in bad shape, with a corroding toilet. At the front desk, we were told these issues were known and related to ongoing repairs after housing refugees, along with recent water problems....

"Really good spot to stay in the Swords area. The room was very well appointed and more roomy than some hotels we experienced in Ireland. Really nice bathroom and comfy beds. Very clean and the staff were very helpful — the manager even showed us to our room. No real lobby area in the hotel (check in is at the end of the bar downstairs) and minimal parking onsite, but we didn’t care about that. "The bathroom was almost impossible to bath in, and was dirty. The bedroom sheets smelled as if the Saint Patrick's Battalion had also there, also the pillows. There were no hangers in closet, with the owners things there that have us almost no space to hang a few things for us to hang. The zone where the property is, was very nice, shops close by were friendly and the pub was great! We can say that the only good thing was the coffee selection, and the location of the property."
