"We decided to stay here for a couple nights for the Duluth Airshow as it was nearby. It was wonderful. Staff was attentive and respectful. The room was clean and ac was working well. The beds were comfy and two types of pillows were offered (firm and soft). The only con is that the walls were a bit thin and could easily here people above us stomping around. "Realizing that the hotel was 100 plus years old, the lobby was quite nice, check in was fine. We got up to the room and it was clean for the most part. We checked the bed for bugs and didn't find any, AC was very cold, bathroom could have been a bit cleaner but was ok. What we were dissatisfied with was in order to open close the bathroom door you had to straddle the toilet in order to do so. There was not a box of tissues in the room anywhere, no bucket for ice, I guess you don't need one if...

"Had a room on the 2nd floor and they did not have an elevator. Besides that, the place was great!"

"We have stayed here twice now. Not too crowded. The scrambled eggs actually taste good. There is an additional sink outside of the bathroom, which is great for when you need to get ready while the bathroom is tied up. Pillow lovers will appreciate that there are 4 pillows for each queen bed."

"This was a beautiful stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was quite comfortable. Never had a chance to check out the lounge. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but it was at least offered. Only downside was that we were not aware that daily housekeeping was not offered. I suppose we were supposed to ask for it. We ended up leaving early for reasons unrelated to the facility, so we never did inquire about the housekeeping schedule."

"This place is the perfect, quiet and cozy getaway. The house had a carport that came in handy with the 15 inches of snow we had during our stay. Most places in Duluth/Superior are only a few minutes away and everyone in the area was super nice. The host was respectful and polite. We made amazing memories with this place and will definitely book this again!"
