"This used to be a beautiful resort. It so rundown and creepy now it's sad to see. I would not recommend staying here. Within an hour of being there I turned in my keys and stayed somewhere else. Based off of other reviews it sounds like I'm out the money for the rest of the nights I had reserved even though they have a 24 hour cancellation policy."

"For having 4.5 stars the hotel felt old and dirty but the safe was very nice!! When you are traveling for work you want a nice clean place to lay your head at night without a strange smell in your room. Really beyond disappointed and almost thought about checking out and going somewhere else."

"Room was clean. Shower curtain too short. Caused floor to be wet and slippery. Road noise heavy until 10PM. Hotel staff seemed to be absent from the front desk. But friendly enough when interacting. "

"This hotel is very economically priced - was clean and the night staff was very nice - you get what you pay for. Breakfast needs improvements. The parking lot is in dire need of repaving. Took a long time for hot water and never really got hot. Overall needs an update. "

"We had stayed here last November also and you can tell the difference with the new owners. Everything is shaping up nicely. New carpet and everything was spotless. They have a nice breakfast available also. Plan on staying here often as we have a new grandson in the area."

"This place was the perfect spot to end the day after visiting with family. It had everything we needed and more! The screened patio was our favorite hangout spot after fishing off the dock in the evenings. We would definitely stay there again if we are ever back in this area! "
