"Camp Figtree was absolutely wonderful - stunning location, wonderful lodgings, fabulous food, and the loveliest people...It's a very special place and we felt a real pang when it was time to leave. Everything was managed smoothly throughout with fab communication from Karin who arranged transfers and safari days for us (and was very patient with assorted queries!) before we even arrived. All the team we met were fantastically welcoming...to name a few, Wicky (excellent driving and conversation), Carla, Noma, Simba...and Troy who ensured we had a brilliant day on safari in Addo Elephant Park. The restaurant staff and chef were fab (I'm running out of adjectives!), and the housekeeping team were friendly and uber-efficient. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout - hot waterbottles in bed, biscuits and fudge in the room, thermos flasks outside our door for early morning tea, a goody bag of fresh fruit and homemade crisps for the journey when we left. In short, we absolutely loved it and wish we could live there!"
