"This is a very charming and conveniently located 2-bedroom apartment (La Scalinata, also on booking.com). It's located steps from a pedestrian street with many sidewalk cafes and bars and is a pleasant 10 min walk into the centre of town. "When we rented this apartment we were attracted to the location up in one of Trieste's many hills. Having installed ourselves we found a beautiful apartment overlooking the bay of Muggia, clean, sunny, and very spacious for two (although the apartment is intended for at least four). We were told there is a bus right if front of the apartment. What we didn't expect is that this bus took us downtown in ten to fifteen minutes; the same going back!
