"You know you had a good time when you are already looking forward to a return visit. There was so much to love about our visit to Sunset Peak. For starters, when my wife and I first walked through the door, the smell of fresh pine captivated our senses. We literally stood in the hallway and closed our eyes for a few minutes to take it all in. After our brief moment of serenity, we slowly walked towards the living room / kitchen area of the cabin and was blown away by the majestic beauty of the mountain ridge that was right before our eyes. I know the saying goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words" but in this cause, the pictures on the website don't give Sunset Peak justice. The views from the back porch and from the hot tub is spectacular. Chip and Carmie, you guys need to do a master class on how to host. Your attention to detail and southern hospitality really made our 20th anniversary trip memorable. Thank You for being so personable. Your calls, text and Ellijay area recommendations were welcoming. "Loved it! It’s very nice, clean, and very well stocked! The hot tub was the bonus! We spent lots of time in it. Very comfortable beds. Loved the screened porch as we did have some rain. We will definitely be back! Probably should give a heads up about the gravel roadway close to arrival, it wasn’t an issue but didn’t expect that, even though we loved the privacy!"
