"I was supposed to have stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, but after less than an hour I started having problems. First problem was that the room is offered bare of any amenities - as I am travelling for about a month, you would expect to find simple things like shampoo, soap, fresh usable towels, hair drier, some water in the fridge, etc. There was absolutely nothing. "The hotel overall was good for Rio Verde. The staff knew I was English and had limited Portuguese ; I had to make all efforts to translate. Also, a work friend from RV who visited a few times , to show me around RV and where to eat etc felt the staff were looking at her with curiosity and suspicion . I saw that also .
