"amazing hotel. we booked for wedding anniversary. Hotel met and exceeded all expectation, from service, design and amenities. Sauna and swimming pool are great, hotel is very nice and bright, and town is nice to visit for a day or two as well. Parking is available at hotel for 25 Euro but also free in the town. Breakfast was good, especially omelet was tasty. Will come again "

"Room smells and the pillows smell bad too. AC wasn’t on and it was so hot to sleep. There was no shampoo in the bathroom and it took them over an hour so I had to go to the front desk to get it. "

"It’s a beautiful authentic place located close to Basel airport and Elzas but it doesn’t feel like a 5 star hotel Almost no amenities Almost no furniture in the huge room And a very basic bathroom "

"Great hotel outside downtown next to a a park. Beautiful surroundings. Good service from their staff. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel which was reasonably priced and tasty."

"Quite an old property that was originally a home but mid 1800s. The owners have fitted this out in a very sympathetic way to the buildings heritage. Big rooms, high ceilings and ornate covings etc, furniture and fittings to suit. How they found all this stuff... heaven knows, but perfect."
