Desert Camp

8/10 Good

"The Desert camp is fine for one night. After our stay, I found cheaper prices offered online. The windows don’t have screens and there are mosquitos around. If you use the AC it’s fine but I prefer fresh air in the desert. There were stranger noises during the night that kept us awake. It seems the toilet flushes automatically. Dinner at the nearby lodge was great. The buffet is a great value. You can cook your own meal at the camp as there are facilites to do it."

Sossusvlei Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful stay at Sossusvlei lodge. We were lucky and got a room with amazing views. Room and lodge was spotless but there was a lingering odour in the bathroom. Food was excellent and we are vegetarians. The best part - the staff were lovely and friendly, without exception. We also did a sundowner drive with Gabriel which we enjoyed very much."

Namib Desert Camping2Go

8/10 Good

"I stayed in one of the camping2go tent things. They're really actually pretty cool and spacious. If you're looking to properly camp, the kitchenette thing has blooming everything you need. I did notice quite quickly that the mosquitos love to hang around this kitchenette area, so come prepared. Dinner and breakfast are decent, though it turned out the money paid for these was the most I'd paid for any meal in the whole 10 days I was travelling in Namibia."

Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch

10/10 Excellent

"Loved our 2 night stay in the Dune 2 chalet! Room was well appointed with an excellent view of a waterhole and the Khalahari desert - saw wildlife out the window everyday. Enjoyed the Night and Combo Game Drives with our outstanding guide, Gabriel - very knowledgeable and engaging with guests. Saw rhinos, giraffe, kudu, Hartebeest, eland, springbok, steenbok, maribou stork, oryx, zebra, and more. Outdoor dining area is set up as a Boma and nicely lit - dinners were very good!"
