It was our first time in Roatán, and staying at La Placita truly made it special. What makes La Placita unique is its charming shopping center filled with local restaurants — and we had the chance to try them all! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We highly, highly recommend dining at the local spots on-site. Be sure to try the three lobster tails special and the tacos Catrachos — both were unforgettable. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. A big bonus included with our stay was free breakfast, which was such a great way to start each day. La Placita has a wonderful reputation for making sure guests are enjoying their time, and most importantly, we felt safe from the moment we arrived. We’ll definitely be back — next time with friends and family! A special shoutout to Andy — our amazing tour guide throughout the entire trip. He took us all over the island, showing us everything from local hotspots to cultural gems like the chocolate factory.
