The monks were very friendly and helpful and everything was well coordinated so you knew what to expect. We really enjoyed our stay and wish to have been able to stay longer.

Beautiful hotel, the monks attending are really nice, definitely go to the morning ceremony, it is worth it. This is near everything and very centric to all the landmarks nearby. The "beds" are pretty hard since its traditional, but its manageable for a night or two. Meals were really good, definitely don't skip them and take the chance to eat traditional monk meals.

For an European, this was like visiting the ISS. Barefoot, tatami dinner, shared bath where i was alone, night curfew which felt like sleeping in a medieval fort, morning prayer and tatami breakfast again. Plus the abundance of history all around.

This was our first trip to Japan, ever, so we wanted to experience authentic and traditional Japanese hospitality, and what an amazing surprise we got. We rented the suite, which is the annex. You basically get an entire traditional japanese house, with a private onsen, all for yourself. From the moment you arrive to the ryokan, you get the warmest welcome you can imagine. I stay at this hotel every time I have a late flight into Osaka, and it is always clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff is helpful no matter what time of day it is, and the breakfast buffet has a large variety of delicious food every time I stay.

The location is fantastic, within 30 minutes by train to Kansai Airport without any transfers. The rooms are clean and tidy, breakfast is free, and there's a large public bath. I've stayed here many times and am very satisfied overall. By the way, if you need to buy Amazon.jp packages, you can have them sent to the hotel in advance and they will receive them for you.

Very nice breakfast included with a bay view. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Free shuttle in the morning to KIX was also nice. Would definitely stay there again next time when visiting KIX

I was so tired from 12hrs flight and booked a room for one night, room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was only one stop from airport, and only 7 minutes walk.
