"Driftwood is a really chilled hotel right on the beach. We had a lovely couple of nights to end our Kenyan trip. Take this place for what it is and you'll have a great time. The staff are so friendly and the food is really nice. Enjoyed it"

"Do not book this hotel! This is a scam hotel. It doesn’t exist. I booked it and on arrival at night time in Malindi spent over an hour in a taxi looking for it. It is not at the location on google maps and the telephone number is out of service. Even hotels.com could not contact the hotel. "Stay away from this hotel..Stayed for 2 dayz..Empty hotel, less variation in breakfast offer. Less welcoming staff, specially at the restaurant. Live Cockroaches on the food as we had a breakfast. Outdated and broken coffee kettle, Electricity went so water anf we were not able to shower.. Horrible experience. We went to breakfast and being told "no coffee due to lack of electricity power. the pool was good.. but the management is tired and see no future in this business, we think."

"Its very serene, I loved the proximity to the ocean, welcoming staffs and the general ambiance of the place."
