"This is advertised as one of, if not, the best hotel in Kingston, Jamaica. Advertisements right as you get out of the airport and around the city. For the most part it’s true; it’s a beautiful hotel which looks to be an older historic building turned hotel, but maybe because of that reason the amenities are lacking compared to any other big Hilton branded hotel in a major city.
The pool is small, and there’s a room which seemed to be converted to a gym. The morning breakfast is good but just slightly better than Hampton Inn. The lunch and dinner menus are the exact same and pricey.
They have a cafe/ bar area for anyone looking for drinks.
The room is clean but with basic amenities standards. My room from the third floor didn’t have much of a view, and since it’s the city there really isn’t a view from any of the rooms.
However compared to all other hotels in Kingston this might be the best available. And every tour operator seems to know where it’s at so it’s easy to arrange transport.
It’s also walkable distance to most other parts of the city.
Staff is courteous and polite."
